The Fruit Club Review

If you missed my first post about the Fruit Club, make sure you check it out HERE.  I was really impressed with the Fruit Club Oranges.  We were given Cara Cara Oranges also known as Red Navel oranges.  They were really interesting.  They looked like oranges on the outside, but grapefruit on the inside.  They tasted very similar to what a usual orange would taste however, they were more mild, not as citrusy, not as sour, not as sweet....not really a whole lot of taste....but in saying that, they were good!

This is not a negative post by any means.  They were just different.  Imagine an orange, but not as tangy.  So if oranges have too much "taste" for you, then you would really enjoy and appreciate these oranges...and they are so pretty!

I found the Fruit Club to be very enjoyable to work with.  They were very helpful and I really like the idea of having 10-20 pounds of fruit every month.  And a different kind of fruit.  I like to make sure my kids get a variety and that they try things that they don't always get to have.  This is a great way to do it.

Make sure you check out the Fruit Clubs website HERE.
You will be happy you did.  The cost isn't bad either.  Right now it is anywhere from $25 and up for 20 pounds of fruit.  It could be lower than that too depending on what you get and when.  This is a very good price when compared with what you pay at the grocery store.

Let me know if you get some from the Fruit Club.  I think it is a great idea to get your kids to try something new!!  :-)

Happy New Year!!!
