I was given the opportunity to review some Soft Lips products!

MY TAKE:

First off, I tried the Lip Polish. Now...many of you may not know, but I used to be a Mary Kay Sales Director...so any beauty item, I have a difficult time with because I am ALWAYS comparing to the Mary Kay brand...which I STILL think stands above and beyond. The lip polish they gave me to review was Organic Coconut and Sugar. It DEFINITELY exfoliated...and it didn't "taste" bad...though I didn't try to eat it. It really was a great product...however, if I was comparing it to the Mary Kay Satin Lips set...I would have to say that the Mary Kay Lip Mask is far better. I did enjoy the Soft Lips...and it DID do it's job, however, I felt a bit greasy on my lips after using it, and if I am exfoliating, I want the feeling of anything on my lips to come off with the exfoliant. If I were grading it, I would have to give it a C.

Next I tried the Pure Vanilla Berry Hydrating Lip Butter. This has SPF 15 in it and is a 100% lip butter. I have to say, I am very impressed with this product. I really like it...and it doesn't "taste" to shabby either. UNLIKE the Mary Kay lip balm, I DO like this one a bit better because of the taste and it has SPF 15 in it. As far as the dryness factor...so far so good. I see no problems and I tend to get dry lips.

The lip glosses and lip tints were equally great! I like that I get the smooth texture of a lip balm, plus the protection along with a subtle color. And the colors were GREAT! The lip butter and the lip glosses and tints get a definite A!!!

But...don't take my word for it!!! You can run out to Target and buy them yourselves, OR you can try to win a set of the new Softlips PURE 100% Naturals lip care line yourself!!!!
