Organic Outreach for Families by the Harney's is an absolutely great book!  You can find it HERE on Amazon.

It was a very helpful book.  I strive to make my house a "lighthouse," for my kids and their friends especially.  I want the light of God's grace and love to shine through us to our neighbors, our friends, our extended family, our kids' friends.

In this book, the husband/wife team discuss ways that you can share your faith with others from the comfort of your own home.  It starts with your own family, then into your extended family, then into the schools, the neighborhood, then opening your own household doors, and finally shining the light of God's grace into your broader community.

This book also helped me to see that some of the good things aren't always good for us.  For example, I sign up for everything....and it is great....I LOVE to help the church and help others, but sometimes I get SO busy with all of that other stuff that I don't have time for the relationship building of my family, my friends or my neighbors....people that may need to see the love of Christ through me....but can't because I am in and out like a whirlwind.

We also shine the light of Jesus when we are humble and transparent about our shortcomings.  NOBODY is perfect, we are ALL going through SOMETHING.  I don't care WHO you are.....you are going through something.  It is okay to share these things.  It is okay to be humble and transparent and show others that Christians are not perfect.

I really enjoyed this book and the great reminders that it gave me.  Definitely a must read if you are interested in shining YOUR 'Light'.
