Dinosaur Zoo Live in Omaha!


ERTH’s Dinosaur Zoo Live™ will be at the Scott Recital Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22. Performances are Friday, March 21, at 2 and 7 p.m., and Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.  You can get your tickets at Ticket Omaha.   Tickets start at $20 and are available at TicketOmaha.com, 402.345.0606 or at the Ticket Omaha Office inside the Holland Center, 1200 Douglas St.

This is definitely a kids show, and it features life-like puppets (huge and small), a lot of interaction and learning without realizing it. There will be pre-show activity, like balloon animals and face painting.

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo LiveTM gives children the chance to experience what life was like among giant dinosaurs, mammals and insects in live, interactive theatrical production. Featuring a large- scale cast of 16 dinosaur puppets brought to life by sophisticated design and theatrical presentation and puppet mastery, these life-like dinosaur recreations connect children to paleontology in a fun and informative setting.

It’s part animal presentation, part theater during which host Aimee Louisanne brings children on stage to interact with some of the creatures. A reviewer for the Sydney Morning Herald wrote: “It’s a rare and pleasurable work that manages technical brilliance, cultural insight and enchantment all in one go.”
