Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

This past weekend, my daughter turned 21!  She LOVES any food that is from south of the boarder!  She chose to go to Margarita's on 72nd St.  I have not been paid to make this post, but we were so well accommodated that I wanted to send a shout out to them!

A couple days prior I called and asked them what the procedure was for a large group.  I knew they didn't do reservations, but didn't know how I could fit my 15 people in.  The manager told me to come in about 30 minutes prior to the party start and get a table.  So that is what I did!

The party was said to start at 6.  So my husband and I arrived at 5:30.  The messaged was not conveyed to the staff from the manager I spoke with prior and so I got a little nervous as they told me that they can't seat me until at least half of the people were there.  I gently told her that I was told that we were to come and get the table thirty minutes early and that nobody would be there until 6.  I sat down and was very concerned as the location continued to fill up.  After sitting down for about 5 minutes they told me the table was ready!  I was VERY excited and relieved that we would have a table for all 15 of our guests!

Most people were there early so it worked out great!  We all ordered, and we had multiple checks.  Our server was very good about allowing this and keeping everything together.  He brought my daughter her first alcoholic drink which was a Strawberry Daiquiri.  We also had a large cake and a smaller cake as my daughter is allergic to eggs, so the smaller cake was her egg free cake (see previous post about Happy Mango Bakery), and the larger cake was for everyone else.  Once our food came, there was very little room with the cakes, so they kindly offered another table for the cakes.  We ate our dinner and enjoyed every last bite!  Then, without me saying anything at all, the server came over once most of our plates were cleared, and put a Sombrero on my daughters head, brought her a Tequila Shot and had his co workers there to sing Happy Birthday!  It was very awesome as I had not planned on doing that!

Next I realized before cutting the cakes, that I had forgotten to bring a knife, and plates with me!  The server was nice enough to give me a big knife and plates and new forks/spoons for everyone!

They truly went above and beyond for our large group and I will forever be grateful to them!

If you've never eaten there before, you should go and enjoy their wonderful food and culture!
