Mat Kearney Young Love CD review!

Mat Kearney's third album, Young Love, hit stores last week debuting on the #1 spot on iTunes Album and Rock charts and is currently sitting at #5!

MY TAKE:

I recognize Mat Kearney as a Christian artist...so I wasn't sure if I was going to like this CD or not...but all I can say is...."WOW!"  It is an incredible album!  I was pleasantly surprised!  My whole family gets in the car and wants to hear it now!  I really like "Hey Mama", "Ships in the Night", and "Count on Me."  They are awesome songs.  The whole CD is awesome!  Very well put together, played, sung...everything about this CD screams HUGE HIT!  He has such a smooth voice and he is so soulfull!  I could listen to him sing all day I think!

I would definitely suggest Mat Kearney and this album to anyone.  I think it has elements of a lot of different genres.  I really think this CD is quite universal.

I have been one of the lucky ones to be asked to go to his Omaha show and review it!  I am INCREDIBLY excited!  I am taking a friend of mine and we are planning a fantastic night!  I can't wait to come back here and post pictures and a review of what I am sure is going to be a very memorable evening!
