Smash Park La Vista

This past weekend, my daughter turned 21! On her birthday, we went to Margaritas for dinner and then we head on over to Smash Park in La Vista, to see what that was all about! We were pleasantly surprised! There is a lot to do there! I had made reservations prior to going yes, but we had never been there and didn't know what to expect. They have everything in there! Pickleball, Axe Throwing, Duckpin Bowling, Karaoke, Shuffle Board, Outdoor Games, Cornhole, Trivia, Live Music, Bingo, Food, Beverages of any kind, a Bar, and even an arcade! It didn't look like it was that big of a location, but boy they make room and it seems very roomy!

We had booked an hour of play time at the pickleball court outside. If the weather is nice, I would highly suggest this. For one thing, the outdoor court is cheaper. For another thing it isn't as loud and just seems more open! We spent an hour taking turns playing eachother. There were 8 of us total. We also played pairs at some point. We did bring in our own pickleball accessories though, otherwise we would have had to have rented them. Next to the outdoor court was a giant Connect 4 game! We had tons of fun playing that as well while we waited to play pickleball!

Once that hour was up, we had an hour booked playing Shuffleboard. I haven't played actual Shuffleboard (like on the ground) for decades...since I was a little girl at my grandparents "village" community center! Everyone in my family had played Shuffleboard on the table at bars before, but never on the ground! We had SO much fun!

While we were doing the Pickleball and the Shuffle Board we had our own personal waiter that got our orders for drinks and food if we would have needed it.

We had a great time! We are thankful to Smash Park for helping to make my MaKenna's 21st birthday a hit!
