This past summer I had the AWESOME opportunity to hike to Havasupai Village at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.  It is a 10 mile hike in, and 10 mile hike out with a 40 pound pack on my back.  It was also in July.  It was brutal in many different ways.  Thanks to my hiking boot insoles though, my feet did just fine.  I cannot stress the need for hiking boot insoles enough.

Bottom line is, you need hiking book insoles.  I will be hiking up to Machu Picchu this summer and I wouldn't even consider going up that hill without them.
