David Sanborn – Sunday, Feb. 15, 7 p.m., Holland Center – Grammy-winning jazz saxophonist
Aspen Santa Fe Ballet – Thursday, Feb. 19, 7:30 p.m., Orpheum Theater – Acclaimed dance company blurring the lines between ballet and modern dance
Ladysmith Black Mambazo – Friday, Feb. 20, 8 p.m., Holland Center – Grammy-winning South African vocal group. Incredibly joyful music.
John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean – Friday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m., Orpheum Theater – Fun, black light puppet show full of music geared toward families of preschools to third grade.
Randy Brecker – Friday, Feb. 27, 8 p.m., Holland Center (1200 Club) – Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter playing in our most intimate hall, the 1200 Club (think candle-lit tables)
The Australian Bee Gees Show – Sunday, March 1, 7 p.m., Holland Center – Best Bee Gees tribute group, hands down. This is a multi-media type of show.
Pippin – March 3-8 (opening night is Tuesday, March 3, 7:30 p.m.), Orpheum Theater – Music by the composer of WICKED, this Broadway musical features extraordinary acrobats. It was 4 Tony Awards in 2013, including Best Musical Revival.
Cassandra Wilson – Saturday, March 8, 8 p.m., Holland Center – Grammy-winning jazz vocalist will be celebrating the 100th birthday anniversary of Billie Holiday.
National Geographic Live’s Ocean Soul with photojournalist Brian Skerry – Another great National Geographic photographer, Skerry’s presentation features beautiful photos and a conservation message
Cherish the Ladies – Wednesday, March 11, 7 p.m., Holland Center – Features all the great facets of traditional Irish culture: lovely music, beautiful vocals, and stunning step dancing
Compagnie Kafig – Wednesday, March 18, 7:30 p.m., Orpheum Theater – Brazilian dance company that brings a high energy and athletic performance.
Fredericks Brown – Thursday, March 19, 7:30 p.m., Holland Center (1200 Club) – Bluesy female duo out New Zealand, they blew the roof off the Holland when they opened for a show last year, so we invited them back to headline their own
Texas Tenors – Thursday, March 19, 7:30 p.m., Holland Center (Kiewit Hall) – You may have seen them on American’s Got Talent, this trio blends country, gospel, classical and Broadway into a charming and humorous show
Motown The Musical – March 25-29 (opening night is Wednesday, March 25, 7:30 p.m.), Orpheum Theater – Broadway musical featuring more than 40 classic Motown hits. It’s the story of the Motown founder and the music that shaped our lives.
Tierney Sutton – Friday, March 27, 7 and 9 p.m., Holland Center (1200 Club) – Jazz vocalist who will be paying tribute to Joni Mitchell
