 It is not very often that I get to have a night out with my friends.  So I was pretty excited when I got to go out with my friend of 13 years April!  We had a great time!  For dinner, we went to Lo Sole Mio , a great, authentic, family owned Italian Restaurant here in Omaha.  The last time I'd been there was probably 11 years ago....and ironically...with April!  :-)  It is a little on the pricey side....so if I want Italian....it is usually the Spaghetti Factory!  But...Lo Sole Mio is TOP of the line in Italian food!  SO worth the money...I just don't usually HAVE the money!  If you live in Omaha and haven't been there, I would really encourage you to give it a try!! Some of you know that I am a Para Educator currently and I work with quite a few Special Needs children.  I love them all, but the children in Down Syndrome have got to be the sweetest of them.  They are so loving.  They don't care what you look like, act like, smell like...nothing....they love you unconditionally.  I often think that that must be how God loves us.  March 21st is World Down Syndrome day and I thought it was a great time to honor those with Down Syndrome.  Here is a story from a blogger friend of mine....read on....
