Urban Rifle Association

Have you ever wanted to be better skilled with firearms?  Have you ever just wanted to learn how to handle firearms?  Are you just curious about firearms?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then the Urban Rifle Association is for you!  Everything that you need for knowledge in any type of firearm and skill that you could ever possibly imagine...right at your fingertips!  Dana and Durea, the instructors of all classes, are very skilled and knowledgeable.  They treat you like you are their family, as opposed to just a client.  After taking any of their classes, you will feel confident in your newly obtained skills, and/or have a new or renewed respect for the craft.  They teach everything from personal home safety, rifle, shotgun, pistol, personal safety outside the home, Conceal Carry, and more!  You will not be disappointed in these classes and these two very competent men teaching them!

Most classes will be all day classes with built in breaks and lunch time.  So plan on being there for the day.  Maybe sign up with friends?  I did!  There were four of us ladies and we had such fun!  I also had my kids learn to shoot with one of the instructors!

Interested in what your experience may look like?  Well...after half a day in the classroom with great information and real life examples and stories, you will then go to the range.  Take a look below:

Indoor and Outdoor ranges may be used.

In addition, URA will teach whatever skill you are needing to learn, even the crossbow as pictured below.

Firearms, ammunition, eye protection and ear protection can be rented for your personal use during the class if you do not have them personally.

For a small additional fee, one of the instructors will also help you find and purchase your own firearm and equipment!

Here are some brief testimonials:

"I appreciate how patient they were with me.  Being new to handling a gun, they took their time explaining how they work, answered my questions and helped me feel comfortable from beginning to end."

"Would recommend one take a basic pistol class before taking the CCW.  BUT, the instructors were patient and thorough in ensuring all skill levels in the class were comfortable and safe before firing the guns.  The material was informative."

Be sure to sign up for the URA's classes on their website!  It is a skill that is important to be familiar with!  Let me know if you have any questions!
