MY TAKE:

First off let me say that I LOVE Purex Crystals and the Purex Detergent.  I really didn't think the Purex Crystals for Baby would be any different.  I used it with the Purex Baby Detergent.  My clothes came out smelling INCREDIBLE!  My kids have very sensitive skin, and they don't seem to be bothered by it at all.  I then used the Baby Crystals with just normal Purex Oxi Detergent...and same response...I could sit there and smell my clothes all day long!!  My towels which had started having some left over stale smells, are smelling awesome again...they don't look new...but they sure smell new!!  The fabric is so much softer, and just all around nicer.  I would highly recommend these Crystals.  I will be going out and making sure I stock up on these as well!

    I generally use vinegar in my wash as fabric softener...but in winter, there's so much static that I'd like to try these Purex Crystals.
